Chris joined Maritime Dock Works as the Vice President of Operations in 2005 prior to a merger between Maritime and Chris’ company DCM. Chris brings with him 15 years experience in the marine construction industry and additional marine experience beyond that.

Prior to joining Maritime, Chris was involved in the day to day operations of North American Marine Industries and his own company, DCM. In his time in the industry Chris has seen everything from being in the field on everything from numerous demolitions, refloat, and repair jobs to the installation of full scale marinas accommodating 100’ foot boats and the tallest covered floating dock in North America with a peak height of 37’.

In addition to his field experience, Chris also has experience in running a company from the office. While he owned DCM, Chris was responsible for all financial controlling and office management to managing the projects in the field. Chris is responsible for overseeing all day to day operations of the company, which includes directing project managers on proper material usage, overseeing construction techniques, scheduling, product development, and engineering.

Chris is also ultimately responsible for the overall production of the company as well as enforcing quality control standards. He is the chief advisor to the company president in the field of risk management. All of his combined experiences make Chris the ideal candidate for Vice President of Operations for a marine development company.
